09:35 - 09:40Coding mit Kids: Wie Kinder programmieren lernen… By Rainer StropekCEO software architects | MVP

09:40 - 09:45XR – The next Revolution of Communication! By Christian GlessnerCEO of Hololux | MVP

Collaboration is the key to success! It is therefore hardly surprising that communication technologies play an extremely important role in our history and are usually the harbinger of a new era. The next technologies that has the potential to deeply change our work and life is Mixed Reality in conjunction with AI. Some people might think that announcements like SharePoint Spaces are just marketing jokes – they are not! These are just the first signals of a new era of communication and collaboration.
The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.
Be one of them!

10:00 - 10:45Modern backends with ‘dapr’ and ‘tye’ By Damir Dobricdaenet GmbH, Microsoft Regional Director, Azure MVP

In the time of microservices, cloud and machine learning, the complexity of backend applications increases. It is getting more and more difficult to design robust, reliable, scalable and easy to operate the system.
This session is about two new open-source projects driven by Microsoft. Distributed application runtime DAPR, which helps to easily build microservice architecture including scalability, loose service coupling and independent deployments. And TYE developer tool that makes developing, testing, and deploying microservices and distributed applications easier.

Join this session to learn how to make microservices easier for cloud and edge.

11:00 - 11:45Azure Functions und AKS: Wie KEDA Harmonie brachte By Christian LeinweberSenior IT Architekt DevOps + Cloud Native bei MaibornWolff

We will show you how Azure Service Operator works and share how customers and partners use it to take their Azure infrastructure management to the next level.

Get insights into how Azure Service Operator can help you to package your application with its infrastructure dependencies, how you can use a GitOps approach to manage your Azure infrastructure, or how Azure Service Operator allows you to create your own composable abstraction to build your own implementations and self-service solutions.

Walk away and know everything you need to know to successfully provision your Azure resources with Azure Service Operator.

15:00 - 15:45Keeping Secrets in Azure with KeyVault and Managed Identity By Rainer StropekCEO software architects | MVP

Managing secrets like connection strings, API keys, certificates, etc. isn’t trivial when it comes to larger projects. The Azure platform provides two components that solve this problem: KeyVault and Managed Identity. In this session, Rainer Stropek demonstrates how they work. He shows IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless samples.

14:00 - 14:45Building a CI/CD pipeline for your Azure infrastructure and app from scratch By Manuel SidlerPassionate Software Developer and Continuous Learner

So you have decided to host your web application on Azure – the right choice! Now it’s time to take care of the infrastructure. So, let’s open the Azure portal, create all the resources, and publish your application with Visual Studio.

But wait! What if you have to add some resources or create the same infrastructure again? Manual work all over, time-consuming, and prone to error. Wouldn’t it be great to have infrastructure as code and let the CI/CD system continuously deploy it together with your web application?

In this session loaded with live-demos, we will use ARM templates and GitHub actions to achieve all of that.

11:00 - 11:45AI on the Edge – Making IoT device smart By Thomas TomowAzure MVP - Cloud, IoT & AI - Leadership & Community

mitbringen.

With hundreds of millions of Augmented Reality capable mobile devices in the hands of business users, every maker will be able to leverage the power of mixed reality to extend their Power Apps with the ease of drag-and-drop development. With these new capabilities, makers can start to digitize workflows in physical space in new and innovative ways using tools they are already familiar with.

13:00 - 13:45Custom tailor your Microsoft Teams experience with Microsoft Graph & Power Platform! By Luise FreeseMicrosoft MVP, Office 365 Consultant

We heard it all before – you can’t just roll-out M365 services but really need to take into account user’s needs- which means that they do not only need feature-based training but also need to discuss their old and desired new working behaviors. Usually, we do this in so-called collaboration contract workshops, where a business consultant helps a team to understand the idea behind working with M365 and gives them a clue how working with M 365 could be successful for them. Questions like ‘How will we structure our files? Which metadata do we need?’, ‘Which processes do we need to deal with’, what are our expectations regarding availability and usage of different tools’ are usually discussed in those workshops and the result leads to a document, which will be pinned to the Teams to make onboarding of new team members easier as it describes the way of working.

Luise did not only templatize this workshop but also put it into an app, which guides the team owner-to-be through the questions and provisions as a last step exactly the described experience this team needs in Microsoft Teams, with channels, custom tabs, apps, and additional libraries and lists.

This app is an example of how Microsoft Graph can be leveraged in Power Platform.

14:00 - 14:45IT-Governance für die M365 und Power Platform By Martina Grom | Toni PohlCTO artwork & MVP | CEO artwork & MVP, RD

Welche User verwenden welche Services?

10:00 - 10:45Stories from a high performing Team By Jennifer Parak, Ursula Goepfert, Xiaofan YanHigh perfomring Team @ ThoughtWorks

Jennifer (Developer), Xiaofan (Experience Designer) and Ursula (Business Analyst) have been working together in a team for the past 14 months. Over and over they’ve been complimented for being a high performing team. So they started to wonder: What does that even mean? In this talk they are sharing their story and their approach, as well good practices for agile software engineering. They will touch topics like:
* Creating a brand – Design as Mindset (inception vision process)
* Creating a community (remote team bonding)
* Setting the foundation for a high performing Software Engineering team (kicking off a user story, focus on working software)
*Building high quality software (Pair Programming, TDD, trunk based development, …)

11:00 - 11:45A Hitchhiker’s Guide to Chaos Engineering By Maik FiguraChaos Monkey at codecentric AG
